[Brian Fulmer]
I am a husband, father of 3 wonderful girls and the president of Lakes Computer. I started Lakes Computer in May of 2000 to proactively support residential and business customers with their technology needs. I have believed my whole life that prevention is the key to longevity. I will do everything I can to prevent larger issues in the future.
Known throughout our customer base for working ourselves out of a job, preventing larger issues is what my company, employees and I are all about.
During the summer months, when I’m not working, I’m enjoying family time either on the lake fishing, or just being outside. In the winter, odds are you’ll find me on a snowmobile either on a trail or the side of a mountain enjoying the white stuff.
I take my certifications seriously. I am a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer along with several other certifications but what I feel is more important, is the experience and working knowledge I have gained during the last several decades of supporting computer systems in many different and dynamic environments.
I enjoy technology because it’s ever changing and every day presents a new challenge and an opportunity to learn something new.

After spending nearly a decade working in sales and marketing for multimillion dollar brands and startups, I know what truly brings clients in. It’s not following each trend – the marketing “flavor of the week” – but rather it’s how well you connect with the people you’re trying to help.
The goal is to learn about your client. Learn their needs and wants, and what they love or hate about a product. Learn their heartbeat and then communicate that back to them.
I am originally from the great state of West Virginia. I miss the mountains, but I have come to love the lakes country and the people in it. Reach out and share a favorite fishing spot, or tell me about that record walleye you caught this year!
[Robert Swanstrom]
Robert joined Lakes Computer in December of 2021.
He graduated from M State Morehead campus with a diploma in Information Technology in 2016 and has been working in IT ever since with experience in Non-Profit, MSP, and Corporate IT environments.
Robert likes to spend his free time Spending time with his family, playing board games with his friends, or spending time outdoors.
Technology has always been interesting to him because it never stays the same, it’s constantly evolving.

I am an experienced IT Specialist dedicated to maintaining seamless operations for user workstations. My expertise includes managing Office 365, diagnosing VLANs, Microsoft Intune and upgrading hardware components.
I support users with Microsoft Office and network infrastructure, ensuring efficient and reliable IT solutions. Additionally, I have been providing computer repair services since 2009, specializing in remote troubleshooting, malware removal, and hardware upgrades.
My technical skills and adaptive approach ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
